Anonymouswould you say you you've found your soul mate?

Hmm, that’s quite a question to be honest.

My love and I have definitely been together for such a short amount of time compared to others. But I’m not sure if soul mates is what we are. Don’t get wrong, though. I love him so, so dearly. In the last six months, we have gone through more than couples would in a few years. I do think we’ve met at such a great time, because he has helped me learn to love, and trust wholeheartedly. He has taught me more than a book could and I have helped him. In his own words, he has learned to become more responsible and stay motivated for himself, even if it is to better my condition and life. But we love each other, and everything we do is for each other and our soon to be baby. So I’m not sure if that answers your question.

Anonymousdo you believe in soul mates?

I’m not entirely sure on this. I believe we have different kinds of soulmates out there for us. We’ve got those friends, family members, strangers, etc who we instantly click with and always return to.

I have a tendency
to fall for boys

whose fingertips have touched
those who cannot leave their souls
boys trapped within another

and I’m that female in the background
just a regular stick in the mud background
who has yet to learn from the many encounters
life has taught her

only this time, he has burned me with his soul
just like all the others.

I was 17 when I wrote that,” she reminds me. “That’s the age you are when you think someone can actually take your boyfriend. Then you grow up and realise no one takes someone from you if they don’t want to leave.

Before you know it it’s 3 am and you’re 80 years old and you can’t remember what it was like to have 20 year old thoughts or a 10 year old heart.
